Shreveport, Louisiana · Est. 1945
Since 1945
Shreveport's oldest shooting sports club — built by shooters, run by shooters.
Our Story
Our History
The Shreveport Gun Club was founded in 1945 by a small group of dedicated sportsmen who wanted a permanent home for competitive shooting in northwest Louisiana. What began as a modest trap range on the outskirts of Shreveport has grown into one of the most respected shooting sports facilities in the South.
Generations of Shreveport families have learned to shoot here — fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, all sharing the same fields and the same traditions.
Today the Shreveport Gun Club is at 4435 Meriwether Road, offering four distinct disciplines, a full clubhouse, and a membership community that takes both safety and sportsmanship seriously.
